The Refinery – FUELING THE GROWTH

FreeFEMALE FOUNDERS – APPLY NOW FOR FUELING THE GROWTH PITCH COMPETITION TO WIN CASH AND RECEIVE VALUABLE INVESTOR FEEDBACK.
The Refinery is hosting Fueling the Growth Pitch Competition at Quinnipiac University, in support of Connecticut Innovation Week.
The Refinery teams with angel and venture capital investors to get as many female founders, as possible, in one-on-one meetings with investors. Founders pitch for 7 minutes, and receive 7 minutes of feedback. Investors select the top companies to pitch-off for cash and other prizes at the evening awards/networking event. Highlights from last year’s event can be found here.
In Hamden, investors from 1843 Capital, Angel Investor Forum, Fairview Capital, and Goldenseeds.
The one-on-one meetings will be held at Quinnipiac, and will be scheduled from 9am – 4pm. All applicants will be pre-screened by The Refinery team.
The awards pitch-off/networking event will be held at Quinnipiac, from 5pm-7pm, and is open to the public.
Currently, the awards are:
- 1st place – $10,000
- 2nd place – $5,000
